My husband and I have custody of our 5 year old granddaughter and are homeschooling. I am certified to teach 1-8, and retired from public school in 2011 -- and still have boxes of "stuff" around. I'm using a mixture of resources, although I did order Sonlight Curriculum for K. Had I researched further, I probably would NOT have ordered and spent that much $$. Very disappointed that most of the books are read-alouds, and until about 2nd grade the students need picture books to see different illustrators styles, discuss the pictures, etc. We read a LOT, and go to the Library weekly. More than you needed to know, but there it is.

Sonlight has a pretty generous return policy. You might can get your money back if it's not for you. Contact them and see - the worst thing that could happen is they'd say "no" and you'd be stuck with a bunch of books you can sell on eBay.
